Description
-Rustic German Lager from the Franconian region of Germany. The traditional Kellerbiers served in this region tend to be darker in color with more malt complexity. Aromas and flavors of bread crust and cereal grains are balanced by a spicy snappy bitterness from the traditional German noble hops. Kellerbier is also traditionally served a bit younger than most other lagerbier so it has a slightly hazy appearance and a bit more complexity from small amounts of yeast still in suspension. There is a level of flavor and aroma to this beer belies it’s 5% ABV.
Hops: Tradition, Tettenang, Saphir
