This amber pumpkin ale can be made with fresh pumpkin or with canned pumpkin (pumpkin not included). The use of seasonal spices creates a sweet pumpkin-pie taste with very little hop bitterness. A two stage fermentation is strongly recommended to help the pumpkin clear out before bottling/kegging.
